Hello Sorry, to ask again about more problems with CAN open, but I’m very new to the system. I’ve made a PLCnext engineer project that utilises the IF CAN module on the AXC F 2152. I had initial setup problems but that’s resolved now. I’ve managed to get all the function blocks setup and I’ve gotten messages from the CAN receiver. My issue is that it takes about 5-15sec in order for the messages to change the data bytes. When using the ILC 131 ETH, the can module could read the data instantaneously or at least within the 200ms range. I know that there is not a problem with the receiver because I’ve used a Microchip Canbus analyzer to read the messages and it sends within the 200ms. Its just when it reaches PLCnext that it doesn’t seem to respond fast. Have I set something up incorrectly or is there a limitation with the module? Thanks again for the help, Sean
Hi Sean, I’ve spoke with our specialists for the CAN Master and it seems that there must be something wrong in the settings or configuration of the module or functionblocks.
