Hi there, TC-Mobile solution is limited in terms of hardware and cannot be extended (more I/O). I am looking for an app that runs on a PLCnext Contol with the same functionality as TC Mobile but is expandable. Thanks for your feedback. Urs
Hi Urs, That is a very interesting question. I know that one of the most common questions that our TC Mobile colleagues get is - “how can I add more I/O to the TC Mobile?” The idea of using a PLCnext Control for this purpose - which would also require something like a TC Router - is a good idea, but it would require a suitable PLCnext Store app to make it work. Someone out there may already be developing this app, but within Phoenix Contact it would make sense that our colleagues who wrote the app for the TC Mobile, would also port that app to a PLCnext Control device, if there was sufficient justification. It seems that an app like this is not currently under development in Phoenix Contact, but your idea has been forwarded to the relevant Product Manager for consideration. Regards,
