Hello, Is it possible to store a .png file on the plcnext and then use it in the hmi on plcnext engineer? many thanks. Roy
Hi Roy, Here’s an example using a JPEG file, but this should also work for a PNG file.
Thanks for the video, but i was wondering if this is possible if the file is stored on the plcnext itself, and not the computer that is used for the programming.
Oh, I see … When I download this project to the PLC, I see this file: /opt/plcnext/projects/PCWE/Services/Ehmi/ehmi/lfc.jpg This is the JPG file that I loaded in PLCnext Engineer - “LFC.jpg”. So, I guess you could replace this file with another image - e.g. “AJAX.jpg”.
You will need to keep the filename the same as the original (lfc.jpg, in this case), and I guess you will also need to consider image scaling. Will this work for you? Martin.
