Hi,

how i need to adjust my network-setting from the AXC 2152 to reach a website from a controller e.g. Caparoc PM PN. Is this possible?

All our Profinet devices got the subnet 192.168.30.xxx and directly connected to the AXC 2152 and via FL 2208 switch. For accessing the AXC 2152 (PLC Next Engineer, Website) we use the subnet 10.242.40.xxx via AXC F XT ETH 1TX.

Hi,
as I know, the PNIO Controller interface moves from AXC F 2152 to AXC F XT ETH, if this unit is plugged.
So the setting should look like the screenshot:

And if you want to connect to controller, you can choice the interface to go online:

You can reach websites of PN-Devices over a router connecting both networks or if you plug a second USB network-card to be in both networks at the same time.
Or maybe you can assign 2 IP-Adresses to your laptops ETH-Port.

Thanks for the reply.

My idea was, that the AXC route the traffic between the different subnets. But this is not possible. So i will install a Router to get access to the Websites of the PN Devices

Hello jmay,
it is possible to enable NAT inside a PLCnext by Linux-commands.
If you have lots of units, it might be a great feature for you and we will explain, how to handle it. If it’s just a single application, maybe a router is easier to make it running.
It’s your decision and we’re open to help you in PLCnext-NAT-configuration.

Hello,

we got round about 15 Units where will we need this feature. So i guess it will be cheaper to use the internal NAT than buy 15 Router :slight_smile:

So i´m interest in your support to get the PLCnext-NAT-configuration running
